$100 (non-refundable) deposit is due at the time of booking to reserve your date, with the remaining balance due the day of your session

Session Types

The session will take place on-location.  Sessions generally last between 1 to 2 hours; newborns can take up to three hours.

For the newborns, this allows plenty of time for the little nuances: diaper changes, feedings for newborns, cuddling, and just getting to know each other.

-Newborns are best photographed within the first 14 days of life.  Wrinkly feet, tiny hands, pouting lips, tightly curled positions, and a soundly sleeping bundle of love are some of the beautiful details Carie will capture.

-Toddlers and children are extremely rewarding to work with as well.  While capturing the personality of your child, Carie is able to capture their innocence and sense of wonder.  Their wide eyes, mischievous smiles, and serious little faces can all be seen in photographs that will last you a lifetime.

-The tweens to teens will add a whole new style to ANY image. Funky and fresh poses packed full of their style can allow for some unique, awesome photographs for all their friends to envy.

-Congratulations! You’re Engaged! It’s all about the romance with this session!

-Families are unique with each member adding something to the family dynamic.  I try to bring out your families characteristics in my photos and create a lasting memory of this time of your lives.  Whether they’re for hanging on your wall, sending them to far off relatives, or Christmas cards, you will enjoy our time capturing your family being, well – a family!

Family Photo Session Clothing Tips

Decide on a formal or casual look, and then choose the wardrobe accordingly.

Simplicity works!

Solid color, long-sleeve tops are best.  Long pants are best as well.
Dressing identically works best but is not necessary.  If you choose light tops, then everyone should be wearing light tops.  If you choose dark pants, then everyone should wear dark pants.  The very best wardrobe choices seem to be single tones for both tops and bottoms.
Avoid bright colors such as bright white, logos and patterns.
Light clothes look better on light backgrounds and vice versa. For variety you can bring both light and dark clothing depending on the backgrounds we go with.

Make sure clothes are ironed.

Wear clothes you feel good in and flatter you.

Can we make suggestions for our photography?

Yes – absolutely! I would love to help you personalize your images by incorporating your suggestions, ideas and preferences.  I may even ask YOU what type of pose YOU would like! =)

How do I find out more?

When will I receive my pictures?

Delivery of your images can be expected within 2-4 weeks after you have placed your order.

*Specialty item’s can take up to 6 weeks.

How do view my session?

Your photos will be in a password protected on-line gallery within 2-4 weeks from your session date. You can then review and select the images you’d like! They will be continue to stay posted for 7 days while you choose your favorites.

Please remember… Memories are priceless, so of course you want to make sure that once you receive your disk of images, every print you order from a digital printing service is perfect. For the best quality photo, we recommend that you use a high quality lab that can duplicate the original digital photo as closely as possible, helping to avoid incorrect tones.

The lab may crop your image slightly different from your original proof. This will depend on the size you want your photo developed as.

As an artist, Carie will use her professional opinion on your images and decide which works best for that individual print. So do not worry over choosing black and white, or color. You will get a perfect combination of both when you receive your proofs.

Please understand that Carie Hunt Photography can not be responsible for print issues once you have agreed to your order after choosing your images.
